Why face time is metered, and text isn't. Your bud isn't on your phone. They're somewhere
else, and your phone is a window. Talking to them through it costs us nothing. Opening the window
costs us a graphics card, roughly one for every person looking through at the same moment. So we
count the looking, and we don't count the talking, and we never will.
We could have hidden that behind the word "unlimited" and quietly throttled you once it got
